Find the bottleneck.
Four categories, each scored out of 100. Your biggest constraint, named. Your fastest win, named. And a written 90-day plan for what to fix first — before anyone sells you a fix.
Diagnosis before prescription.
Most owners can list five things that are wrong. Almost none can tell you which one is holding the other four back. The Growth Assessment answers that question with a score, not a hunch.
Every business is scored across the same four categories, against the same rubric. Then we name the constraint — the single problem limiting the rest — and the fastest win, the one change that pays back soonest. Both go into a written plan for the next 90 days.
- 01
Market
Positioning, reputation, competitive advantage.
Is it clear who you serve, why you, and how you compare?
- 02
Demand
Website, SEO, reviews, lead generation, conversion.
Do enough of the right people find you, and how many become enquiries?
- 03
Systems
CRM, follow-up, workflows, automation, process.
What happens to a lead, a job and a customer once they are in the door?
- 04
Operations
Leadership, KPIs, accountability, meetings, profitability.
Does the business run on a rhythm, or on the owner?
What you leave with.
Everything in writing, in plain English, usable by you, your team, or any provider you already trust.
- Score sheetThe Fieldstone Growth Score: four categories, each out of 100, and the overall figure, with a plain-English note on what moved each score.
- Constraint analysisThe one thing that is costing you most right now, named plainly, with the evidence behind the call.
- Prioritised 90-day planWhat to fix, in what order, and why that order — written down, across marketing, systems and operations.
- Working sessionA readout with the owner (and leadership team, if there is one) to walk the plan, argue with it, and decide what happens next.
How it
runs.
Four steps. A short questionnaire up front, a couple of conversations, and then a readout you can argue with.
We understand the business process first. Then we use technology to fix it — and only where the score says it will pay back.
- 01
Intake questionnaire
A short, structured questionnaire on how the business is set up today: who you serve, how leads arrive, who follows up, what gets measured, and where the owner's time goes.
- 02
Interviews and data
A conversation with the owner and, where it helps, a manager or two. Alongside it, the data we can see: your website score, your Google Business Profile, how your CRM (if you have one) is actually used, and the general shape of your P&L — where the money comes from and where it goes.
- 03
Scoring
Each category is scored out of 100 against the same rubric for every business. Then the constraint: the single category, and the single problem inside it, that is limiting the rest.
- 04
Readout
The score sheet, the constraint and the 90-day plan, in writing, then a working session to go through it. You leave knowing what to fix first — whether or not you fix it with us.
Owner-led businesses that have outgrown winging it.
Service businesses, trades, contractors and growing local companies — typically 5 to 100 people. Home services is our flagship vertical, but not the whole company.
- 01The owner is still in the middle of everything and cannot see which problem to fix first.
- 02Marketing spend goes up and enquiries do not — or enquiries arrive and quietly go cold.
- 03There is a CRM, or three, and nobody trusts what is in them.
- 04Revenue is fine, profit is not, and it is not obvious why.
- 05Growth has stalled at a size where the old way of running things stopped working.
- 06You are about to buy something big — a website, a CRM, a hire, a coach — and want to be sure it is the right thing.
What it costs.
The Growth Assessment is scoped on a growth call — the price depends on the size of the business and how much there is to look at. You get it in writing before anything starts. Nothing here is a quote by surprise.

Growth Assessment
Market, Demand, Systems and Operations. Your biggest constraint, your fastest win, and a written 90-day plan.
The website score and the $49 audit are graded the same way for everyone, client or not. Sometimes the answer is SEO or a website. Sometimes the conversation reveals a much bigger business problem — that is what the Growth Assessment is for. All fixed prices.
Asked before every assessment.
What does the Growth Assessment cost?
It is scoped on a growth call. The scope depends on the size of the business, how many people we need to talk to, and how much data there is to look at. You get the price in writing before anything starts, and it never changes mid-way.
How is this different from the free website score or the $49 Digital Visibility Audit?
Those two look at your digital presence: the website, Google, AI visibility and competitors. That is the Demand category. The Growth Assessment scores the whole business — Market, Demand, Systems and Operations — and tells you which one is actually holding the others back. Plenty of businesses find the answer is not marketing at all.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the business and how quickly interviews can be scheduled, so the timeline is set on the growth call alongside the scope and put in writing. Your part is a short questionnaire and a couple of conversations; the readout is a working session, not a slide deck.
What do you need from me?
The questionnaire, one or two conversations, and access to what already exists: your website, your Google Business Profile, your CRM if you have one, and a general view of your P&L structure. We do not need audited financials, and we do not need anything you are not comfortable sharing.
Do I have to hire Fieldstone to fix what you find?
No. The plan is written so that you, your team, or any provider you already trust can act on it. If you want Fieldstone to implement, we scope that separately, and only for what the assessment supports.
Is the scoring the same for every business?
Yes. Every business is scored against the same rubric, and the score is set before implementation is ever discussed. The grade is never for sale.
What kind of businesses is it built for?
Owner-led businesses that have outgrown winging it: service businesses, trades, contractors and growing local companies, typically 5 to 100 people. Home services — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping — is our flagship vertical, but not the whole company.
Know what
to fix first.
Fifteen minutes with the person who does the work. We will tell you honestly whether the assessment is the right next step — or whether a website score is all you need today.
