Metro Detroit business coaching, marketing and systems — remote and cross-border.
Fieldstone is based in Southwestern Ontario, across the border. No Detroit office. The work happens remotely, in your time zone, in US dollars, with in-person visits when a project earns the drive — an independent visibility audit, the systems behind your leads, and coaching for the owner.

Owner and leadership coaching, KPIs and scorecards, accountability, quarterly planning. When a planning day or a process walkthrough is worth doing in the room, we drive over.
No Detroit office.
No pretending.
Metro Detroit is a large, competitive market with plenty of agencies and coaches in it. What tends to stand out is the combination — an independent audit, the systems behind the leads, and coaching from someone who runs a business — not a local address. So we are plain about what we are and are not.
- A Detroit agency with a downtown suite
- On site every week
- A cheaper option because it is Canadian — the prices are the ones on the pricing page, in USD
- A specialist in Michigan tax, licensing or employment law
- An independent audit that grades a Detroit business the same as any other
- Systems and coaching that are remote-first by design, portal included
- Operator experience: someone who runs a business, in your time zone
- Cross-border by geography — Windsor–Detroit is one cross-border economy, and we work both sides
What Fieldstone does for Metro Detroit businesses.
01
Local SEO and Google Business Profile for Metro Detroit businesses
Google works the same on both sides of the river, and so does the audit. We grade your visibility against the actual businesses ranking above you in your suburb or corridor — not against a generic checklist — then fix the profile, the reviews, the site and the AI-search presence in the order that moves the needle. In a market this large, knowing which three competitors matter is most of the battle.
02
CRM and lead follow-up for Detroit-area contractors and home services
The systems work is remote by nature and loses nothing to the border. We map how a lead moves through your business, then build the pipeline, missed-call text-back, estimate follow-up, email and SMS automation and dashboards on the Fieldstone platform — and coach your office through running it. Never lose a lead, in any area code.
03
Remote business coaching for Michigan owner-led companies
Monthly coaching from operator experience — meeting rhythms, KPIs, accountability, role clarity, quarterly planning, P&L and profit — delivered by video, with the occasional in-person session when it earns the drive. Owner-led is the fit; the side of the border is not.
Selling into Detroit from the Ontario side? The Windsor–Essex page covers the cross-border case from that direction.
Asked by Detroit-area owners.
Are you a Detroit company?
No, and we will not pretend to be. Fieldstone is based in Southwestern Ontario, across the border from Detroit. There is no Detroit office. Metro Detroit is served remotely and cross-border, with in-person visits when a project warrants them.
Are prices in US dollars?
Yes. Prices are shown and billed in USD — the free website score is free, the Digital Visibility Audit is $49, and scoped work is quoted in USD in writing before you commit.
Do you actually understand the US market, or is it a Canadian playbook?
Google Business Profile, local SEO, reviews and AI search visibility work the same in Michigan as in Ontario, and the audit benchmarks you against your real Metro Detroit competitors, not a Canadian one. The systems and coaching work is about how an owner-led business runs — that does not change at the border. Anything specific to US tax, licensing or employment law is not our field and we will say so.
Will you ever come in person?
Occasionally, when it is worth it — a planning day, a leadership session, a process walkthrough that is easier standing in the shop. Detroit is a day trip from Southwestern Ontario. It is not the default, and it is agreed in the scope rather than assumed.
What does remote implementation look like in practice?
Video sessions for discovery and coaching; shared documents for the plan; the Fieldstone platform and your client portal for the CRM, automations, dashboards and reporting; email and text in between. You see the work as it happens.
Do you serve the rest of Michigan, or only Metro Detroit?
Anywhere in the US works the same way remotely. Metro Detroit has its own page because it is the closest large market to Southwestern Ontario and part of the cross-border economy we already work in — the way we serve Grand Rapids or Toledo would be identical, minus the day trip.
We are a Canadian company selling into Detroit. Which page is for us?
Probably the Windsor–Essex page — most Ontario businesses selling into Detroit are based there — but the answer is the same either way: we look at positioning, visibility and follow-up for both markets at once.
