How Fieldstone works
We diagnose the gaps costing you customers, then let you decide what to do about them.
Fieldstone grades your website, AI visibility, local search presence, and conversion gaps against a published methodology, benchmarks you against real competitors, and hands you a prioritized, plain-English report. If you want help acting on it, Fieldstone Build, Profile, and Review Growth are optional services. None of them change the score.
How scoring stays honest
One published method. The same for every business.
Scored before anything is for sale
Every business runs through the same published methodology, and the grade is set before implementation is ever discussed. Buying Fieldstone Build, Profile, or Review Growth afterward never changes the score.
The same method for everyone
Every site runs through the identical set of checks and the same grading scale. You can read exactly what we check, and how it's weighted, on the methodology page before you ever pay.
Plain English, always
A report you can't understand is a report you can't act on. We translate the jargon into a grade, a competitor comparison, and the fixes that matter first.
Quality and accountability
How we keep it accurate
We don't publish a team page of stock headshots. Here's what actually governs how your report gets made.
Who reviews deliverables
Every paid report is checked against the raw audit data before it's sent. Findings that don't hold up against the live scan are corrected or removed before delivery.
How automated findings are quality-checked
The engine runs 140+ checks against real, live signals: robots.txt, sitemap.xml, rendered page content, and Google PageSpeed data. Nothing is estimated or guessed; every finding traces back to something the engine actually fetched and measured.
How the methodology stays consistent
The category weights and scoring scale are fixed and published at /methodology. We don't adjust a business's weighting to make a score look better or worse.
How customer data is handled
Free checks only ever look at public pages. Paid audits and contact details are stored to deliver your report and follow up; we don't sell or share your data. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
How refunds and corrections work
If a paid report isn't genuinely useful, email us for a full refund and keep the report anyway. If a specific finding is factually wrong, we correct it and re-send at no charge.
The one rule that matters
“Every business is scored using the same published methodology before implementation is ever discussed. Buying another Fieldstone service never changes the score.”
